DESCRIPTION:“For the 5th time this year\, Gründungsfabrik Rheingau and its regional partners invite you to the Rheingau-Taunus Start-up Award final at the ‘New Forum’ of EBS Universität für Wirtschaft u. Recht in Oestrich-Winkel. Special thanks to our main sponsors: Rheingau-Taunus District\, Rheingauer Volksbank\, Glock & Partner/M-L-G\, as well as partners Wachendorff\, Reichwein Bauzentrum\, Werner Elektrotechnik\, and Alumni Associations EBS Alumni and Hochschule Geisenheim University  Verein ehemaliger Geisenheimer VEG. \nA total of 9 founders with teams will pitch their start-up ideas in three categories\, competing for the jury and audience’s vote. \nJoin us on November 20\, starting at 5 pm with a networking event in the EBS canteen\, framed by a small Gründungspreis alumni fair. SUMMARY:Drink Innovation Challenge 2025 - The Final
DESCRIPTION:For the fourth time\, five creative teams or participants will face a jury of experts and industry specialists as well as the public in the final of the Drink Innovation Challenge 2025. These teams will be selected by the expert jury from a field of applicants that will be determined on 28 May\, when the application window closes. \nOn 25 June\, the selected finalists will pitch for a total of EUR 4\,500 in cash prizes and a prototype production at Geisenheim University’s brand new\, state-of-the-art Beverage Technology Centre. \nThere will be a get-together in the foyer of the new lecture theatre building at 6 pm\, with the pitches starting at 7 pm in HÖR South. \nThe final is open to everyone. Please register using the form below so that we can better plan the snacks and drinks. After the final\, we would like to invite all finalists\, sponsors and guests to join us at the ‘Alter Fass’ next to the lecture theatre building for a beer or wine to round off the evening and celebrate the final teams. \nA warm welcome!

DESCRIPTION:We are looking for you and your innovative and extraordinary ideas and business models. Are you a pupil\, student\, alumnus\, or employee of a school or university in the Rheingau-Taunus district\, or someone from the Rheingau-Taunus district with ideas that address ecological\, innovative\, social\, or societal issues in an entrepreneurial way? Then you’ve come to the right place! \nThe categories: Where do you fit in?\nCategory 1: Best business idea from schools and universities \nThe three best entrepreneurial ideas from pupils\, students\, or employees of schools or universities based in the Rheingau-Taunus district\, as well as participants in programs run by Gründungsfabrik Rheingau\, will be awarded prizes. These ideas must have been developed within the last two years as part of a course\, within programs run by Gründungsfabrik Rheingau\, or as a result of some other impetus. \nYour idea does not necessarily have to have been implemented yet\, but the will to do so should be clearly evident! \nCategory 2: Best start-up from colleges/universities in the district \nThe award will be given to the three best entrepreneurial business models that have been implemented since January 1\, 2023 by students\, alumni\, or employees of colleges and universities located in the district—EBS University\, Geisenheim University\, and Fresenius University—as well as participants in programs run by Gründungsfabrik Rheingau. \nYour company or business idea may already have been established\, but does not necessarily have to have started trading yet. \nCategory 3: Best start-up from the Rheingau-Taunus district \nThe award will be given to the three best entrepreneurial ideas from the population of the Rheingau-Taunus district that have been founded after January 1\, 2023. \nYour company may have been founded\, but it does not necessarily have to have started business operations yet. There must be a clear connection to the Rheingau-Taunus district. \nThe prizes: Kick-start for your start-up\nThe start-up prize will not finance your dream\, but it will give your idea and its further development a little kick and provide you with a stage. \nAs a participant in one of the categories\, you have the chance to win €1\,500 (1st place)\, €1\,000 (2nd place)\, or €500 (3rd place). You will also receive a wild card for a program at the Rheingau Start-up Factory. \nNow it’s important: These are the dates you should already mark in your calendar: \nApplication period: from now until October 12\, 2025 \nAnnouncement of finalists: October 29\, 2025 \nPitch final and award ceremony: November 12\, 2025\, at the “Neues Forum” of EBS University in Oestrich-Winkel \nThe jury: You need to impress these people \nYour ideas and projects will be scrutinized in a two-stage selection process by a jury consisting of sponsors and representatives from both universities. \nStage 1: Selection of the best submissions for the final by the jury. \nStage 2: In the final\, you will have to convince not only the jury but also the audience in the “New Forum” at EBS. Voting will be as follows: 70% jury and 30% audience. \n______________________________________________ \nGeneral conditions: A few rules for participation\nIndividuals or teams can apply. \nApplications can only be made for one category. \nThe categories in detail: \nCategory 1: Open to business ideas from school pupils\, students\, and employees. \nCategory 2: Open to start-ups by students\, alumni\, or employees of the universities located in the RTK. \nCategory 3: Open to founders who are based in the Rheingau-Taunus district. \n\nThe following must be submitted: A description of the start-up idea and a pitch deck with a maximum of 10 charts and all relevant information.\nDocuments must be submitted using the application form below.\nAt least one team member undertakes to represent the team at the final and award ceremony on November 12\, 2025.\nApplicants assure that their submitted business ideas or business models originate exclusively from them and do not infringe on any third-party rights.\nParticipants agree that their personal data\, in particular their names and email addresses\, will be stored beyond the duration of the competition.\nThe winners agree that their names and a brief description of their ideas will be announced during the award ceremony and subsequently on the Gründungsfabrik Rheingau website and in a press release.\nThe participants agree that photos and videos of the event may also be used by Gründungsfabrik and sponsors after the event.\nIncorrect information provided during registration or in connection with the submission will result in disqualification.\n\nWe look forward to an exciting competition!
