Patents, Trademarks & Designs – An Overview for Entrepreneurs

The lecture provides a hands-on overview of patents, trademarks and designs. You will get to know the scope of protection of these so-called intellectual property rights and learn which requirements need to be fulfilled to successfully apply for patent, trademark or design protection. Alternative ways for protecting your intellectual property will also be discussed. The abstract concepts of intellectual property rights will be made manageably by telling the story of a successful start-up company.
