We aim to raise awareness, qualify, motivate and bring together young entrepreneurs interested in setting up their own business or taking over a business in order to promote future-oriented, social and sustainable start-ups.
Our tasks are to:
Coordinate and strengthen the regional start-up system of business and scientific community in a joint initiative.
Promote entrepreneurial thinking and provide a creative space for generating innovative ideas and putting them into practice.
Support students to take the steps towards founding their own company and being independent.

Although we are no longer based at the WAAS factory, we still have ties there. It is still possible to use the co-working space there. For EUR 120.00 per month, you get a nice workspace including internet, a height-adjustable desk and access to a kitchen where you can cook food or simply make a cup of tea or coffee. Research strengthens practice. That is why we think accompanying research is an essential cornerstone for start-ups and entrepreneurial activities. In particular, we focus on two research topics: sustainable financing and business succession. Our team carries out extensive research on these topics.
